Growth Begins With Support
Congratulations
You have taken the hardest step: reaching out for help
Asking for support is not easy, but it is one of the bravest things you can do. It shows strength, self-awareness, and a willingness to create positive change in your life. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone.
Therapy is a partnership
Together, we'll work to understand your experiences, develop practical coping strategies, and build the confidence to navigate life's toughest challenges.
For more than three years, I worked at Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital, providing care to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges. My experience in an acute psychiatric setting reinforced my belief that healing begins when people feel seen, heard, and understood. I strive to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where each client feels safe to share their unique story.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and change unhelpful thought patterns, creating meaningful and lasting change. I also incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.
I believe therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan based on your unique strengths, goals, and experiences, helping you build practical coping skills and greater confidence as you navigate life's challenges.
